My skin care products have been crafted based on my own needs as an aging woman who does not want to go down without a fight.

My throat was showing dry lines. I was looking like Grampa Simpson with the wiggly lines to show old, saggy skin.

I bought products that claimed to help but I couldn't find anything that reversed the lines.

My face was a mess. I'll write more soon on this.

All these products were crafted by me personally here in Maine.

I designed the recipes and crafted each product, which was then tested by myself, my love, my family and my friends.

My products work without ingredients that my friend Luke, the Cairn Terrier, couldn't eat safely.

Now I am closing in on 50 years old and my skin is remarkably healthier, better looking and I no longer have breakouts, dry skin, or fine lines.
My throat is beautiful! I no longer have the wiggly lines, my throat no longer sags and it no longer has the two horizontal lines across my throat that I have had my whole life.

Skin care products can't do it all. You need to drink a lot of water and eat quality foods that nourish you.

All my products can be used on face, hands and body without irritation, even if you have sensitive skin.


I became interested in making skin care products when I first began making Beeswax candles for a blog project on my website at www.5ElementArts.com.

I explored more in depth about Beeswax and its use in skin care products as an emulsifier and a nutrient in ointments.
I also learned how unhealthy most skin care products can be.

Crafting with herbs comes naturally and I began macerating fragrant flowers in oils.

I don't use preservatives or additives. Every ingredient is chosen for its' active skin care properties.

Lavender, Chamomile and Calendula rise to the top of the list in beneficial herbs for skin care.

A South Berwick native, I currently live in Eliot, Maine,
where I am fortunate enough to craft wonderful herbal products with a beautiful view from my windows.

I work to honor and appreciate nature and the energies that rule our Earth, using my hands and heart to create in the kitchen, garden and home.

Finally, I have found a vocation based on creativity, inventiveness and does not contribute to a large carbon footprint.

Settling into my later forties, I have learned to relax, observe, learn and share my knowledge with those around me.

As a disabled adult, my mission statement is to use this opportunity to maintain my elderly mother's quality of life in her home of over fifty years as she has cared for me all my life.

I want my business to provide for me and for my mother to live out our lives in ease and peace.
